Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 21st December 2020 Written Episode Update starts with Naira tells Kartik that the licence was already cancelled in the US and shows him the letter. Kartik says to Naira that why will Riddhima say lie. When he told Riddhima about Kairav’s problem she was with them .
He says that Riddhima said because of their friendship she coming to India from the US. Naira in panic search for Kairav and finds that he is safe. Naira says to Kartik that she is not taking stress for no reason, something is definitely going to happen wrong.
Kartik and Naira go done to ensure and look for Kairav again. Meanwhile, Kairav runs down in hurry. Kartik hands Akshara to Maushi and looks for Kairav. Naira and Kartik search for Kairav. Naira cries and tells Kartik that Riddhima took her son away.
Riddhima takes Kairav to the airport in her car and tells him that Kartik and Naira will be coming in another car to see off them. Kartik calls Riddhima but she didn’t pick his call. Naira says Kartik that she will not pick the call as she has stolen her child. Naira says that it was clearly visible that Riddhima finds Arjun in Kairav.
Naira says to Kairav that she was not giving them the rights of parents. She was doing this so that she could be more close to Kairav. Naira says Kartik to call the police meanwhile she would call the US medical center where she was working.

The US medical center tells them that Riddhima’s medical condition was not good after the death of her child. She finds her son in every child she meets with. Naira and Kartik stand shocked. Ahead, security comes and tells Kartik and Naira that Riddhima took Kairav to the airport. Kartik and Naira inform the inspector and goes behind Riddhima.
At Goenka’s house, Manish asks Suhasini to take medicine. Suhasini says no medicine will work as her condition is getting worse because her time is near now. Manish asks Suhasini not to talk so bad. Suhasini says his father came in her dream and was asking her to come near him. Manish then refuses to believe her.
Akhilesh asks Suhasini not to over-think. Suwarna says to Manish that Suhasini is not wrong as when dead people come into our dream that means someone’s death is near. Manish decides to calls Kartik and Naira. Both of them don’t receive the call. Kairav thinks he is in danger and recalls Kartik and Naira’s words.
He somehow manages to make Kartik and Naira learn where Riddhima took her by tricking her. Kartik and Naira go behind Kairav. Kairav throws a signal on road. Riddhima tells Kairav that none can separate her Arjun from him. Kairav cries for help.
Meanwhile, Suhasini’s health is getting worsen. Kartik and Naira don’t receive the call. Afterward, Kartik and Naira traces Riddhima’s car but don’t find her. Naira calls out for Kairav. Kairav shouts Naira’s name back.
