Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 16th December 2020 Written Episode Update starts with Kartik is stunned seeing the inspector with Naira. He thinks in mind that whatever the reason it may be, Kairav can’t see Naira and the police together.
Kartik immediately goes to stop Kairav. Then Kairav happily goes to meet Naira and Akshara. Nair then waits for Kairav to come. Suddenly Riddhima sees Naira and the inspector together and thinks that Kairav can’t spot them together .
Meanwhile, Kairav comes to Riddhima and she gets stuck. Kairav says he is going to meet Niara and Akshara. Riddhima gets happy thinking of Kairav seeing Naira and the inspector together.
Suddenly, he sees the inspector and misunderstands Naira again. He thinks that Naira called the police. Kartik stands stunned and Naira sits confused.

Afterward, Kairav ran away seeing the police. Naira asks Kartik to take care of Akshara. She runs behind Kaira. But Kartik also runs behind Naira and Kairav telling Sudha to take care of Akshara .
Riddhima joins Kartik. Kairav then locks himself in the store room. Kairav cries for Naira. He then calls Naira in fear of the darkroom when she was looking for him. Naira cries and goes to meet Kairav. Riddhima says Kartik that they should talk with him. But Kartik says let Naira handle Kairav.

Kairav is afraid and says not to come closer to him. Naira urges him to listen to her once. Kairav then agrees to listen to Naira. She says that she has also misunderstood her mother in the past but her mother was not wrong .
Naira explains to Kairav that she will never hurt him and says she trust him. Kartik asks God to reunite Naira and Kairav. Naira says to Kairav that she has explained well and it’s on him to take it or not.
Kairav understands and hugs Naira. Kartik and Akshara smile. Kartik sees the pink sky and gets happy. Riddhima is unhappy seeing them together.
